Collection & Use of Personally Unidentifiable Information
As is true with most websites, our systems automatically collect information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) Address, the type and version of your browser, and whether you were directed to the self-service applications from another website. We may also automatically gather information about your use of our website, for example which pages you visited and how long you spent on each page.

Personally identifiable information includes your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, social security number, tax identification number, and other information that can be used to identify you individually.
When you register for one of Sedgwick’s self-service applications you may be required to provide personally identifiable information. This information is used by our systems to identify your data and prevent unauthorized access to it.
The personally identifiable information collected at registration will only be used by our systems to retrieve and protect your data.
Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information
Sedgwick does not disclose any personally identifiable information to any third party outside the legal need-to-know claims process except in rare circumstances as required by law, regulation, or legal process. We may also disclose personally identifiable information if we believe it is necessary to assist law enforcement agencies or otherwise protect our legal rights.
Control of Your PIN
Your account can be used to view sensitive information. It is, therefore, important that you keep your PIN private, as you would your banking PIN. If your PIN is compromised, contact Sedgwick immediately.
Protecting Your Information
Sedgwick takes our commitment to protecting your privacy seriously. We take reasonable measures to ensure your data remains secure, both internally and externally. However, no internet application can ever guarantee absolute security.
Sedgwick will take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of your Social Security number and limit access to your Social Security number to those with a need for such information. Sedgwick prohibits unlawful disclosure of Social Security numbers.
Our self-service applications use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt data between your computer and our servers. Pages using SSL are identified by a small yellow padlock icon at the bottom right of your screen.
Cookies are small text files that are automatically placed on a user’s computer. A “session cookie” is a cookie that will be automatically deleted when you close your browser. To better serve you, we set session cookies to help us see which pages you visit, in what order you visit them, and how long you spend on each page. This cookie is not tied to any personally identifiable information. A “persistent cookie” is a cookie which will remain on your computer even after you close your browser. For example, websites often use persistent cookies to enable access to personal content without having to login each time you visit.
